A minor but persistent inconsistency has been noted between the Proteus simulation logs (Chimera iteration 0.7) and the E.Lena debug fragments from Project Confluence.

  • In the Proteus logs, a failed construct sequence references a node labeled C-12, Null-Origin.
  • In E.Lena’s integrated core simulation (Book 3, Chapter 10), a similar pattern is described — but it is omitted from Lena’s personal diagnostic echo.

The anomaly appears only once in each file. It’s easy to overlook.

But it exists.

The Codex does not mention C-12. Neither does the Council.
No known construct or post-upload entity has claimed it.

What was C-12?

  • An experimental mindstate?
  • An echo of an aborted simulation?
  • A precursor thread purged during ZPE blackout events?

Log your memory.
Contribute evidence from Book 2 or 3 if you found something similar.

“There are no ghosts in the substrate.
Only fragments we aren’t ready to name.”
